On May 1st, 30 Marian, Duchesne and Conordia shooters trekked to Doniphan Nebraska for the 47th annual Cornhusker Trapshoot. This year there were more than 2,500 competitors. Friday was the high school singles event. Due to the number of competitors the program was changed to 75 singles targets Singles Results Marian Blue: Sarah Villarreal, Samantha Tracy, Ellie Messerschmidt, Katie Petersen and Allison Zuerlein placed second in the ladies team event.
The second day consisted of 75 handicap targets with yardage between 18 and 25 yards depending on the first day scores. Handicap Results Squad Blue with Sarah Villarreal, Samantha Tracy, Ellie Messerschmidt, Katie Petersen and Allison Zuerlein placed second in the ladies team handicap competition. Katie Peterson took second place in the handicap event.   Overall Results Squad Blue with Sarah Villarreal, Samantha Tracy, Ellie Messerschmidt, Katie Petersen and Allison Zuerlein placed second in the overall ladies team competition. Katie Petersen placed second individual overall.
