Spirit week fun for all
Katherine Pigaga

Every year, senior class officers come up with creative and interesting ways to rally spirit among the Marian masses. One of these methods has, in recent years, been Spirit Week, always right before the Gnimocemoh Dance. Each day of spirit Week has a theme for students to dress up for. In years past, there has been Grade School Spirit Day, Hypochondriac Day, Super Hero Day and Monochromatic Day, when students where asked to dress entirely in one color. This year's themed days were, chronologically, Little Kid Day, International Day, Bug Day, the ever-present Twin Day, and the week concluded with Blue and White Spirit Day. Even teachers get in on the fun, including Mr. Bruce Esser, who, on International Day, represented the home world of the Klingons. Mr. Gilman and Mr. Schandendorf even had their own twins on Thursday, Twin Day. While this tradition may not last forever, fro now you can be sure to walk the halls before Gnimocemoh and see the creativity of the Marian girls abound.
