Caucuses cause competition for Bush

John Kerry is giving President George Bush a run for his money.  In fact, Bush has hard competition by all the democratic candidates running for president, such as John Edwards, Howard Dean, Al Sharpton and Dennis Kucinich.

In the Iowa caucus, Kerry came in first, and Edwards came in second.  In the Washington caucus, Kerry defeated Dean with 49 percent of pledged delegates.  Dean had 30 percent, Kucinich came in third with 8 percent and John Edwards with 7 percent.

John Kerry was also in the lead for the Maine caucus with 11 points over Edwards and 12 over Clark in Tennessee.  In Virginia, Kerry was 13 points over Edwards and 18 over Clark.

During the campaigning process, several candidates have dropped out.  They are: Wesley Clark, Dick Gephardt, Joe Lieberman and Carol Braun.
