Q. How long have you worked at Marian?

A. I have worked here for 26 years.

Q. Are you a Marian graduate?

A. Yes, I graduated in 1974.

Q.    What are your responsibilities at Marian?

A. I am the full time recruitment director, full time dance instructor, choreographer for musical and select women’s choir. My extra-curricular activities include dance team and pantomime moderator

Q.    What is the most demanding aspect of your work at Marian?

A.     Definitely Recruitment Team, without kids at our school, Marian wouldn’t be able to operate. R.T. also has the most events and takes a lot of planning to run smoothly.

Q.     What is the most rewarding part of working at Marian?

A.     The relationship I have with my students in every aspect of my jobs.  I love the energy and support I receive from my students.  Any opportunity I can help a student fulfill their goals I’m willing to do that.  Even though I may not have the time, I will do it if it makes someone happy.

Q.    How long have you been working with the musical?

A.     I have been working with the Marian musical since I was a sophomore (1971).  I was the first student ever asked to choreograph a musical and I have been a choreographing musicals at Marian ever since.

Q.    What is the best part about working with the musical?

A.     The final outcome is the best part about it.  I have a special connection with the dancers because we spend a lot of time together.  The lights, the sound, the set, all give me a sense of relief.

Q.    Why wouldn’t the musical be the same without Mrs. Delisi?

A.     “She does everything.  All the costumes, choreography, and dancing is wonderful because she’s there.  The communication between the students and director wouldn’t be the same without Mrs. Delisi because students feel most comfortable with her,” said senior Michelle Gates.
